How to redo these chairs?

I have two of these chairs and love them. Just hate the color and would like to do something fun. I have no specific color or design I need to match because I am still moving around a lot. They right now they are in a sitting corner for reading.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here's a few chairs that I thought the material was great. Chevron is so popular now too, and comes in so many colors combinations and sizes. But my favorite is the first chair. Hope you will post a picture of whatever you might choose.

I quite like the soft, buttery colour. Very warm for a reading chair. Maybe it's the carpet colour that's putting you off the chair colour? If you're moving about, I'd wait until I were more settled before spending time and money to replace what looks like a very good upholstery job.

For a fun look, why not faux cow hides? Not terribly expensive, and you can amp up the fun factor!
