Melody, that small pond is so cute. I bet you don't miss the tree . How tall was the tree? -
That is beautiful and unusual. -
Very cool. Nice work. -
Some of the best creations come from accidents. This is ingenious. -
Resourceful and sculptural. Well-done. -
This is soooooo cute! Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? Great idea...great job! -
Great use of the natural space....digging out stumps is a real pain in the butt. -
That is such a cool idea. Very unique. I recently wrote an article on Pond Designs if anyone needs a little inspiration here it is - http://hometipster.com/magical-garden-ponds/ -
Very creative...:) -
Great idea!!! -
This looks like my back yard.. When Isabelle went through, we lost 20 some trees and we are backed up to the Dismal Swamp, so I have taken advantage with Bog Gardens ; ) -
Recycling at it's finest! -
What a way to make lemonade! It's just too cute and practical as well. Good job. -
Very pretty. I bet if you had tried to plan for your pond to look like this, it wouldn't have turned out as nice. Love that you used part of the tree in the pond. -
Lovely. -
thanks for the comments ... it took alot of work and course the rest of the yard came together after the pond:) -
the tree was very tall actually and we had to get a tree cutting service to come out cut it off our roof -
we moved the stump around in several ways to see which way was most creative, I went to our local Craft store and bought some little artisy things and with in a few days the pond came together and we have gotten so much enjoyment out of it, I bought a few koi fish and what a difference it has made.
