small back yard pond

we had a tree fall and it left a huge hole inour yard so I made a pond out of it and used the fallen tree as part of the decoration.
put some koi fish in it and then built around it .. had several gardens around it later

we moved the stump around in several ways to see which way was most creative, I went to our local Craft store and bought some little artisy things and with in a few days the pond came together and we have gotten so much enjoyment out of it, I bought a few koi fish and what a difference it has made.

the rest of the yard came together soon after ... i made a brick patio after wards from brick in a junk yard from an old fallen building , then used a old wheel barrel base as a fire pit ... and turned out great:) we spend a lot of the summer nights out by the pond and fire pit, when fall came we had friends over all the time by the firepit..
