    tree I took down with a chain saw. I left the trunk because I always wanted a hammock. The beach idea came later. :-) It is simply a $20 tiki umbrella from Party City affixed to the tree with u clamps. :-) Aloha.

  • The floor was bare plywood from pulling up the carpeting.  So I simply painted it and added a monogram.  Fun.
  • I added a bookcase I had downstairs to add more space for folded clothes and was still able to use the shelf by placing it on top of the bookcase.  Worked out perfectly.  Cut up the rod and placed them inbetween.
  • Forgive me but I had to post the BEFORE.  Yes - SO much stuff - it feels so fresh and decluttered now.  Love it.
  • Slowly moving things back in but Santa Claus is definitely getting back in here.  LOL

  • This was the eyesore that was my backyard shed.  It had fallen into disrepair and needed some TLC.
  • Here is my finished product.  It is not a "tennis club".  Total cost was only $40.  I made the awning out of a tarp and masking tape and furring strips.  Such a difference for a little effort and money. 2

Turn a dated brass foyer light into a classy circle patterned beauty

A $5 Habitat ReStore light got a makeover with Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint and Martha Stewart glass paint. A silkscreen stencil was produced so that the paint could be squeegeed through the stencil.
