A Salvaged Gypsy Boho Backyard Corner!

Using four salvaged solid wood doors, a thrifted chandelier, left over paint and some creativity I created a small getaway corner in my small urban backyard. It's been great for enjoying summer nights and taking some family photos! Check out more of the process on the blog!
The mostly finished product. The couch and the curtain were moved into the space for a photo session. Usually a garden bench sits where the couch is.
The thrifted chandelier, de-wired, painted, and with acryllic gems to add some sparkle. There are also solar LED lights now added so it glows at night.
One of the doors found on the curb in my neighborhood before I painted it with some leftover exterior paint I had on hand.
The chandelier from the ReStore, mid-de-wiring and pre-painting.
Working on attaching the gate hinges to two of the doors.
One of the family shots my photographer friend snagged of us, because sometimes you just have to dress to the nines and sit in your backyard! (Photo courtesy of Keely Weis Photography)
