I painted my parents' family room a few months ago and ever since the walls have been completely bare and boring. I wanted to do something fun and interesting to liven them up, but without breaking the budget. So I shopped my parents' house. I shopped the garage, the attic, and the other rooms and pulled together this really fun clock and frame gallery wall. My total cost was $11 for both the spray paint for the frames and the picture hanging hardware. Not bad for budget decorating.
This is what the sad little wall looked like before...
Here are the items I pulled from the garage and attic...
I shopped the other rooms for clocks. My dad used to collect clocks; all kinds of pendulum clocks, cuckoo clocks, and grandfather clocks. Needless to say, they had a ton of clocks to choose from.

    I especially liked the idea of shopping your parents house, so easy and so creative, it looks great !
