Make Over In Progress: Girls Shared Bedroom

As soon as we moved into our new home, we looked forward to redecorating the house; including our girls' shared bedroom. It's been a lengthy process thanks to a strict budget, but we're finally starting to see some real results!
We began the makeover by picking out an affordable bedding set from Target after weighing several options.
Before committing to a design, we put together a design board. We thought about adding an navy accent wall to the room, but decided that it might make this already cozy room look a little too small.
On the blog, we explain how we added trim to both the windows and the closets. It's made a huge impact, making the space feel more complete.
And then painted a subtle two-tone color scheme to add some additional visual interest.
We also shopped the house (and Ikea) for cute accessories!
The room isn't complete yet, we still have some grand plans to share in the near future on the blog, but we hope that you will will follow along as we continue work on this space! Just look at that before/after!
