Wildlife - big frog

I have many water features and therefore many aquatic types. This frog is so much bigger than any of my other frogs that I would like to know what it is called.

The frog has yellow on the underside of his body. He seems quite content living on the side of the Koi pond.
  • I believe he is your normal all American bull frog but I believe it may be a FEMALE. Yep the female are larger than the males and can have yellow on their undersides. They eat anything that they can get in their mouths-other toads and frogs, snakes, fish, small birds and such. They live on the outer edges of ponds and water sources. So i would watch her otherwise your pond become the buffet. Happy gardening!

Do they eat Koi @The Garden Frog with C Renee ?
    • @Sherrie Slaboda afraid so. they will eat anything they can get in their mouths so I suggest moving her large butt to a far away location LOL

@The Garden Frog with C Renee That big mouth would have a hard time eating one of my KOI because they are very large with the exception of a few. I'm going to have to plan how I get that fat girl frog out of that area of my pond. I'll be working on that tomorrow. I do have a very large net that might work. I finally solved the heron problem and now this. I understand they go hunting at night.

@Lori Jackson Not Jeremiah. Not Joy to me. More like Godzilla. Well I've got planning to do today to remove the girl. I understand she has teeth.
