Have you ever considered using furniture-style cabinets in your bathroom?

Picture a white vessel sink and an attractive faucet sitting atop a vanity flanked by tall, quartersawn cabinets, which provide storage as well as style. Frosted-glass doors on the cabinets can add contrast to the woodwork and hide clutter, while soft lighting surrounding the mirror can create a flattering glow.

Love that look. We're on a constant search for the right size buffet/dresser for our guest bath (needs to be almost 8' long, or two pieces to fit the area). The scratch and dent places are a great resource because many times, it's the top that is marred, which we will be removing and replacing with granite, anyway. Just haven't been able to find the perfect piece at a bargain price yet, but we have plenty of time.

My mother brought back a lovely carved chest from Turkey years ago. I had a hole cut in the center, placed a glass vessel on top with a tall cylinder faucet in bronze. Looks amazing and I really enjoy it. Not really useful for two person household, however.

My fiance is a plumber and installed this beautiful piece of furniture and vessel sink in an older home that was being totally remodeled.
