updating old furniture

I used Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Duck Egg to achieve this look. This paint requires no sanding or priming and it's awesome! A quick update of the hardware and it looks like a brand new piece! Click here for the full tutorial http://www.beforemeetsafterblog.com/2011/06/...

And Bright Nest - I did something like this in my old house - took a dresser that my mom used for sewing stuff - and turned into an island. of course AFTER I took the drawers out and opened u the front - do I notice a signature on the back - who knows how old it was - but it's still being used as an island!! We tiled the top - added an overhang to sit at- and it worked great!!
