@Rrsh Hi rrsh- thank you so much, I am glad you like it. My husband & I knew planned out our design & knew the specific changes we wanted. We had a cabinet company order the doors, drawers & also had them make a cabinet to wrap around the frig & stove hood to give the built in custom look. We hired a painter to paint the existing cabinet shells. We went to a glass company for the glass for the 2 cabinet doors. Knobs were purchased at a store that specializes in handles. We also were able to negotiate with them & got a contractors price! Love that!! My husband removed the old boxed fluorescent lights & installed the canned lighting himself. He also replaced the light over the table with a great deal we found at Lamps Plus (1/2 off!) It's everything we imagined & even better. We love the way it turned out. One suggestion- take pictures of what you like & that way you can show contractors, stores, cabinet companies, etc. The more you know what you want & the more you can plan or do for yourself, the more $$ you will save. Put up a picture after your project is done, we would LOVE to see how it turns out.
