Does anyone recall a floor wax product that filled deep scratches on hardwood floors? My mom needs to repair a few and she remembers using this stuff many years ago.
I can't vouch for it personally. I know I have seen these fix jobs, and they look better and less noticeable, but it doesn't make scratches completely disappear.
Minwax makes some that are designed for furniture, these are available in the basic "minwax" colors...If you can't find an exact color match you can blend them.
