The wonderful comfrey plant! It has so many uses, and it will keep growing back every time you harvest it. You might even be lucky enough to find a neighbor who considers it a weed and will be grateful every time you cut it down for them.
To harvest, cut leaves off the plant. No need to shred them or cut them into smaller pieces. They break down fast enough as it is. Be sure to leave the stems, because they tend to reroot easily...and you don't really want comfrey growing in your veggie beds.
