Kids' Table and Chairs Makeover

I gave a sad vinyl-topped table that I got for free from a friend an upgrade with spray paint, a new wood top for the table, and hand-stamped fabric to recover the chairs.
After taking the chairs and table apart, I gave the metal frames a fresh coat of paint. Rubbed bronze for the table and a light blue for the chairs.
The table top was made from pre-cut pieces of poplar coated with polyurethane.
I stamped fabric that I used to recover the chair seats.
When it was all put back together, the table had a new more modern look and a more durable table surface. All ready for lots of art projects!
You can see more details about my process on my blog.

Nice job!! We have a couple card tables and chairs like this..I may do this for the grandsons when they get a little bigger... Might I just suggest you sand the corners a little to avoid any boo-boos.
