DIY // IKEA RAST Chest Drawer Dresser

$155
2-3 Days
Medium
I needed a dresser for my son's room, but everything I had looked at was expensive. So, I made my own dresser.
I made this dresser about 1 year ago, and I still love it!

You need two of these Ikea Rast Chest Drawers.

Assemble and add support. Find all the material I used for this project here (http://www.oheverythinghandmade.com/reveal-diy-ikea-rast-chest-drawer/)

With the top and bottom attached, I added these front boards because it would have been a too big of a gap in between the border I am going to add and the piece of wood that already came with the IKEA Rast chest drawer (see the white board in the back).

Adding some trims will give your project a more finished look.

I was told that when painting a furniture piece you want to use a foam roller. Because I already painted the chest drawer with 2 coats, I can only agree to the foam roller. It gives it a little texture, but I like it because of the Satin finish from Behr Premium Plus Ultra.

We love tiney tiny baby clothes.

I painted the knobs a different color, with acrylic paint and sealed them with Modpodge.
