This cute DIY Cardboard Roll Desk Caddy was such a fun and easy craft! All done with a few cardboard rolls and a couple of items from Dollar Tree. The total cost of this project was $3, and my daughter absolutely LOVES her new desk caddy! Check out all of the simple steps.
First you will want to grab all of your supplies. I used several sizes of cardboard rolls from toilet paper rolls to paper towel rolls. Take contact paper and apply it with glue to your box and cardboard rolls.
I took the contact paper and carefully covered the box.
I then rolled all of the rolls, not having to be completely perfect since the were going to be glued down into the box.
I then grabbed a bit of burlap and twine I had laying around and decorated some of the tubes.
After that, I was left with my base structure!
It was then time to move to the desk and add all of my essential supplies for school. Head over and check it out!

What a great way to use the cardboard rolls. I've seen covered boxes, etc. for organization, but this adds another dimension to the mix.
