Add Height To Your Ceiling Using PAINT

Easy
Did you know that you can make your ceiling look taller by simply using paint?? If you give your ceiling this EASY and inexpensive paint technique it will give the illusion of a higher ceiling. It's all about tricking the eye!! ;)
I used leftover paint from the walls to create a rectangle around the perimeter of the ceiling. My ceilings have a funky texture so I used a great new product from Frog Tape for textured surfaces. The tape gave me a crisp line!!
You can see from this picture how subtle the rectangle is.
The whole project took me about an hour and a half from start to finish. To find out all the details, I'd love for you to check out my original blog post.

I really need to try this technique! Also... Where did you get your light fixture? I love it.

Angela is this supposed to make your ceiling look like its a shodow up there, as if there is a cove ceiling kind of thing? It looks amazing and would certainly try it, but what would I do if the wall was a darker colour, like Navy, would you still do the navy or a colour to make it look more like a shadow?
