MY FAVORITE ROOM: Dining room Make Over: From "Formal" to "Farm girl French"

Our formal, Georgian Brick Red dining room was fabulous ten years ago when I painted it, but my style has evolved and our entertaining is more casual now. By changing only the paint, the draperies and the accessories (and NOT buying new furniture or a new chandelier), I was able to achieve an entirely new feel that's a much better fit for our lifestyle and my taste.

Nice makeover. I like both wall colors actually. It's cool to see how big a difference paint and accessories can make.

The change is so dramatic and beautiful! I agree, both colors look nice but the grey just makes everything pop!!

1. The gray is amazing. 2. That hutch is even more amazing...it's so unique and really makes the room. 3. I love the chandelier. 4. I'm obsessed with this room...pinning now. :)
