Wintering over toads in a shallow pond
Hi Folks, we live in Derry NH and put in a small pond to have a water feature
in the yard, however, the toads have found it, and there are about 30 under 2".
We wonder how to help them winter over as the pond is 8 inches deep by 6feet wide.With the heavy liner we know they can burrow in the mud, so any ideas to keep
them safe? will they jump out and go into the soil? any ideas appreciated.

Do not worry-the toads will do and go where they need to for winter.

@the Garden Frog Boutique, seriously?? I can stop worrying about them? will they jump out and go into the dirt, or hide in the water under the sides where the flagstone is?? thanks so much
