Are you looking to put in a ramp on a home? Make adjustments to the inside of a home?

Both, for my Dad and his wife. Ramp is doable but not sure on inside. Doorways etc seems a bit much.Want to do correctly

I don't know about these things-what I do know is that my local Home Depot will donate the materials for a ramp and I thought that might help you with some of the expense you are looking at to complete these projects.

Jerry you need to find a contractor who has a CAPS certification. You can find these guys here. http://www.nahb.org/reference_list.aspx?sect...

These contractors understand the needs of the aging and special need clients and not only have ...»

been trained in understanding their needs, but have developed special contacts with suppliers who can provide the necessary products that will fit into a home.

One of the great things is that many of the products that are available these days no longer looks like a hospital. Ramps and entrances now look as though they were designed for a vacation home.

So check around on the site provided. You will find a lot of helpful things there. If not contact me, and I will help you find what your looking for.
