Here are some concrete sinks we made last week

These are sinks that are just going to go in the showroom to show some of the possibilities and designs we have. We busted our tails making all of these, every sink & mold was hand made and we did it in 3 days. These are all unfinished and unsealed and who knows when i will get around to doing that.... if ever. But they give a good idea of some of the possibilities.

These sinks need some good names so i am open to suggestions

For the record..... the one table sink looking piece in the bottom of the "group" photo was NOT my design, idea, or anything. That has to be one of the ugliest pieces of concrete ever made in my shop, but one of the guys wanted to experiment and "make art" as he called it, he came up with that design all by himself!

Impressive-I wouldn't normally think about the ideas or what it takes to actually make our everyday conveniences, but these are very original. I don't think any name I came up with would do them or your hard work justice, btw-I do like the seashell; be nice if you could do something with that.

Ha! Way to throw your co-worker under the bus with that comment about his piece. Anyhow, these are really cool. I think I would waste a lot of water watching it swirl down into the drain in the swirly basin.

Steve, i dont want any undue credit. lol He left that one at the shop and didnt take it with him if that tells you anything, its going to become the piece thats always in my way. I told him i dont think thats going to look too good while he was building the form, but he wanted to "make art." lol

Yeah the spiral sink is cool, we watched a marble spiral down several times, it never got old. The funny thing is, the idea for the spiral sink came from the same guy that wanted to "make art." ...»

He's actually worth keeping around when he isnt "making art."

You could call the spiral one the "whirlly pool" and the blue one Bali Blue Pool. Just a thought. They are just gorgeous.

Stone-crete, Tommy made that one. Im still messing with him about that, i told him it looks like ash trays on the corners and a salsa bowl in the middle. I gotta give him credit, the swirl sink was his idea and it turned out pretty cool. The others are my babies, we had a lot of fun last week making these.
