Any innovative uses for this?

Loved this yellow shelf when I saw it at a garage sale. It has nothing to hang it with at the back so I’m guessing it’s for desktop storage. I’d like to do something innovative with it. Any ideas from anyone? It’s 15 inches long and 8 inches high.

you could hang it on outside wall or fence and put potted flowers on it..

You can make or buy various types of things to hang it. If it's level on the bottom you could sit in on a desk or cabinet. The first thing I thought of was to drill 3 or four holes through the top "shelf" and put mason jars or glass vases in the hole. Then use the jars for flowers, herbs, candles or storage. You could use clay flower pots. You could paint the glass a cool contrasting color like turquoise or a metallic color. I tried to find a pic for an example, but didn't find one. Do a search for mason jar crafts and you can find instructions and ideas painting and uses. You could use it for a spice rack.

you could put legs on it and make a bench adding anything else you would like to dress It up - paint or deco or a carving

Turn it on it's side, put shelves in the small vertical area and in the larger vertical area... use it for books and potted plant and miscellaneous items... It would hold more and fit in a corner. + I would want to repaint it to look like leather....

I'm with Lindamangham on this one. Add legs for a bench with storage below.
