An Entry Table Made From... WHAT?!

When my front entry table started to get a little tired, just dusting it didn't do it for me. I decided to roll up my sleeves and try something completely different. With no real furniture to work with of course. :)
So I grabbed a bunch of odds and sods from my stash, and came up with a one of a kind entry table I'm pretty sure no one else in the world has! Can you guess what each piece actually is?!
Off my rocker crazy or curiously interesting? What do you think?
Yessiree... this is my new junk styled entry table. The top is from an old table, and then we have pallet wood, a surveyor's yardstick, and a trunk lid sitting behind the mirror.
A smattering of galvanized and stainless goodness helps give all the rustic a little lift while being productive. Or maybe the hydrangeas saved the day.... either way, it's working!
Since this contraption had no doors nor drawers, an old barrel holds scarves, garden gloves and anything else seasonal.
I know it's a little out there, but I think with that little rustic cabinet on the wall, it works. Or maybe I've just finally lost it.... :) Visit the full story and more pics at the blog link below....
