Board and Batten Entry #entryway

When we moved into our home, I was so excited to own something and add character to make it OURS. The first project I worked on was adding some board and batten to the front entry
This was the starting point. I liked where it was at, but there was SO MUCH brown. It needed something to add character and interest.
I drew up a plan so I could estimate the spacing on each wall. I wanted to make sure it would look how I envisioned.
My husband brought the saw right into the hallway!
And it is! This is how it stayed for a long time, and I am currently in the process of painting the walls a blue / green color. Stay tuned for the update on the blog.
