WOW! This is just awesome! we LOVE Dr Who! How did you make the windows on the door? Did you just block off the area so it stayed white when you painted the rest blue, and then draw in the lines between the panes? This is just an awesome idea!!! -
Yes, Sharron. I had primed the door white and then painted all the trim blue. I put a coat of white paint in the approximate area for the windows so when we attached the trim I just had to do a little fine touch up with the white. I basically free handed the lines. I am pleased how they turned out. -

Very clever of u to have thought of doing something like this to this outside basement door as the whole motif serves as a security measure for hubby as people respect that blue color and also what is on the sign. WHAT AN AWESOME, AND PRETTY JOB YOU HAVE MADE FOR HUBBY ON FATHER'S DAY, LINDA.
