Mid-Century Modern Coral Nightstands

I picked up this pair of nightstands at a flea market and fell in love instantly. There were a couple of small repairs to be done to them, but overall, they were in great shape and seemed to beg for a facelift.
Here's that facelift!
I was drawn to the curved lines on the drawer fronts immediately.
The bottom right corner of the left nightstand was split, so I used wood glue, and a couple of pin nails to put it back together...for good!
Mod-podge helped to glue the fabric to the back and seal the top of the fabric. I think these cubbies would be great for a basket, but also so cute to leave open. There is even a hole in the back of each one for cords.
I spray painted the original knobs in an antique copper,
and also portioned off a section of the legs for copper paint as well.
I think I like them better than I did before!
