Everything AND a Kitchen Sink!

I built this vintage sink vignette in a day using an old 1950's General Electric Sink I found on Craigslist, some salvage lumber, shutters and windows. For the complete DIY, click the blog link here:

The old kitchen sink I purchased on Craigslist for $40!!
I built a base using 4 x 4's and a top from some scrap plywood we had hanging around. I attached the base to the legs with some L brackets to make a strong, stable surface. Then I added some cross-pieces for more stability.
I added a chippy old salvaged shutter and some burlap scraps to cover the base.
Once the sink was in place, I added shutters for shelves and an old window. Everyone loves to look out the window when they're at the kitchen sink, right?? For the complete DIY tutorial, click the blog link here:
