Where The Rubber Meets The Road You'll Find Succulents?

You can buy one of these milk glass thingies at practically any thrift store in any city on any day. I practically trip over them at my favorite thrift!
I decided to repurpose (we'll use that term loosely) this one into a succulent planter.
Oh wait, did I mention these succulents are rubber?

Yeah. I got tired of my real ones dying. Rubber doesn't get all picky about when you water it. Or the amount of sunshine it gets. Plus you can throw it in a closet if you get tired of it.
So I used the rubber variety instead and I have to say that they look amazingly like the real thing. f you think about it, most succulents pretty much feel rubbery, so why not skip the hassle and just buy rubber.
I have a whole tutorial up on my blog post (link below) that shows you how you can make your own rubber succulent planter.
