Chemical-Free Pesticide

I have been very careful about the way I care for our vegetable garden. I try to avoid chemical-heavy products as it is, and using chemicals on our little garden just seems silly. Unfortunately, I am growing many leafy greens which little bugs just seem to love! Luckily this mixture for my Chemical-Free Pesticide has worked like a charm. In fact, you can see the little critters scurry off your plants as you spray them–very reassuring!
Ingredients Needed:

1. White Distilled Vinegar

2. Dish Soap

3. Water
Directions:

1. Combine 1 part vinegar with two parts water into a spray bottle.
2. Add 2 teaspoons of dish soap and shake!
3. Spray generously over the leaves of your fruits, vegetables and other flower and vegetable garden plants.
4.Watch as insects run away!

Vinegar will burn and kill the plants if too strong a solution. In a spray bottle I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint liquid soap - diluted by 75% water, large pinch of baking soda. For many years. Inside the house too. Get it at health food storesl
