Summer 2014 Flowers

Flowers in my summer shade garden.
On my front porch, These Calibrachoa did not do very well here, as they didn't have enough sun. It's really hard to find things for a shady porch. that gets really no sun.
My front shade garden. I add to every year. Last year I missed digging up my Caladiums and lost them all, and had to purchase all new this spring. I'll not make that mistake again.

Next season you might try Browalia on your front porch. Cornell University says it "charms the darkest corners of the garden." http://www.gardening.cornell.edu/homegardening/scene3b12.html

@Douglas Hunt Thanks, I'll have to remember to looks for it , I like that it comes in more than one color of flower also. Although I always have green non flowering plants (because their a little easier to find for shade) I'm always looking for something that flowers.
