Jennifer McCurdy Fine Porcelain Artist

No interior design would be complete without some form of artwork.

When it comes to producing works of art from porcelain there are few who truly master the art like Jennifer McCordy. Jennifer has, over the years, mastered a medium to produce some of the most stunning examples of porcelain art I have ever had the pleasure to view.

Her work is indeed beautiful, perpetually in motion it never gets old or feels stagnant. She is really a talent to admire and emulate! There are links to her work at both http://ceramicartsdaily.org/ and the Laguna Clay featured artist site

We could all learn a lot from her techniques!

Hi Sharron and Phil - thanks for the kind comments. Yes, Jennifer is a true master of porcelain. I did try it on a few occasions when I used to work with clay, but it is so difficult due to its composition. I really love Jennifer's work and Hometipster.com for me allows me to champion individuals. Hometipster.com is all about the Home and Garden but I always wanted it so that it focuses on real people's homes and allows me to promote others work - whether it's art or someone doing ...»
something special with their gardens, building a house and more.

Sharron, thanks for the link - I've checked it out briefly but I will go back and see if I can find a few individual artists that I can write about and help to promote.

When you visit Hometipster.com I would really appreciate it if you could share the articles you like - it helps me enormously get my small business notice and it really helps the individuals I write about.

Thanks guy... have a wonderful day. Graham

Hi Graham, read thru your article on Jennifer and her work is beautiful. Dropped her a line to let her know I found out about her thru you. I am so glad that you have the resources to bring something different to the table here at HT. Have enjoyed your articles very much.

Thanks Dee, that really great. You have no idea just how much it means to me when people go that extra mile. Thanks so much :) I've got a hole notepad full of ideas for articles. I have to say the one thing I like the most is being able to Champion the individuals and help drive visitors to their websites. Thanks again Dee - hope you have a wonderful day :) Graham

Many years ago my mother worked with clay, I made the mistake of coing back from the Saint Johns river with black clay on my boots. I made several trips back just to get her buckets of clay. Same thing happen with lotus pods lol.

I love almost all sculpture, particularly glass, but I am one of those people who is scared to death of it because I am so clumsy...in my 51 years of housekeeping I have never had a matching set of glasses more than a few months...I actually started buying glasses at a restaurant supply place by the case! This piece is stunning! I will look at her other works!

Hi Jeanette - I'm not sure of the prices of Jennifer's work, but yeah, if you are accident prone then it could be a very expensive hobby. I'm the same with Wine Glass, but strangely only wine glass - I used to buy the nice ones but they don't last long.
