concrete?...have you tried some basic power washing? to even up the look...then apply a good concrete sealer. -

I have used cleaners directly on the concrete...pre wet the concrete...then sprinkle on the dry cleaner. ( an oxygen based deck cleaner works great) then scrub the concrete with a deck broom. these brooms are only about 1 foot wide so it concentrates the scrubbing power...follow up with the rinse.
