Grandparents Day Mason Jar Flower Vase
Grandparents Day is Sept 7th this year. I never paid much attention to it until, of course, I was a grandparent. I had one of my grandsons visiting this week and we made this Grandparents Day mason jar flower vase together.
My 6 year old grandson was so pleased with himself as he printed out the note card on our vase. A few strand of raffia topped the Ball jar off and held the notecard.
We used the green Ball Perfection Jars from Ball's 100th anniversary.
A simple gift made together was a wonderful way to make something special together. I'll use this vase a lot. When he come's to visit, I'll be sure to have flowers in his vase on the table to greet him. Sometimes the most beautiful things are the simplest.
