Phase one of a retaining wall and pool deck renovation at my home.
New wall section on left replaces wall undermined by tree roots. This time wall was sufficiently notched to make room for growth. Right side of wall will be replaced as well. Stay tuned!

This is a rebuild of a section of wall. Because a section of pool deck remains over the existing anchors (deadmen) I demoed around them and utilized them in the new wall. That's where the reciprocating saw came in handy!. Additional deadmen were installed, drainage was added that the previous wall did not have and timbers are secured with Timberlock screws and 10 inch spikes.
