@my name is misse sounds like time to purge a little, just sit down with them and make a trash pile,,,a pile to cut up and use for crafts and a pile to keep have them get involved in storage ideas also let them use their creative minds xx

my name is misse, I had the same issue, I saved every report card, piece of art work & special projects from my four kids. I had a whole closet dedicated to their school years. Finally decided to purge, but couldn't bring myself to throw these precious memories away. So, I compromised. I took pictures of each item, in each child's box & made a school days scrap book for each of them. I included their school pictures from each year along with pictures from their first day of kindergarten, middle school, high school & graduation pictures. I gave them to them for Christmas last year. They were thrilled! We all had the best time looking at them & have already started books for their kids. I am happy their memories are still preserved (much more compactly) & I now have my closet back!

I did the same thing with my kids! I have three boys that are all grown now, but I had everything out in the garage, until I decided to make a scrap book for each of them. I did have to throw alot of stuff out, and that really hurt!!! but the things that I kept I can look at them or bring them out and show to my granddaughter what her dad made when he was her age. It is fun!

I love what Penny Jo did. I took pictures of everything my two did and saved them onto a dvd-two copies of each . There's one for them and one for me . My older son recently became a father and I look forward to sharing with my grandson .
