Looking for inspiration and information! I came across this chair, it was free, what can I say. The chair is solid, obviously in need in repair, it has straw filling for goodness sake! I have never upholstered a chair before, but am willing to accept the challenge. Thinking funky paint and fabric? What would you do? Tips and links appreciated!

    This looks like a great first time upholstery project! Doesn't look like there's any actual sewing involved. It does look like the springs need attention though. Also, lots of staples to pull. I use an old slotted screw driver that I've filed down so it's sharp. Also use a pneumatic stapler. All other staplers just don't seem to have what it takes to do the job.
