These photos are of a 500+ sq ft patio project currently in progress.

The Uncoupling membrane and antique bronze edge profiles are installed, surface will be covered in 18 x 24 porcelain with accent inserts, I will post some finished photos soon.

Renovations, what does the uncoupling membrane do? It will be interesting to see the finished patio.

The membrane allows for in-plane movement, Basically it allows the sub-surface and the tile to move independently from one another as expansion contraction occurs it relieves stresses from the surface covering.

We will be using Ditra in our Master Bath when we remodel. Best invention for tiling I've seen in a long time!

I have been using the Ditra systems for several years now. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with their products, bit expensive, but their trims, and options are great!
