Turquoise Chalk Painted Wingback Chair-Sue Allan, Canada

Used Annie Sloan's
simple chalk paint to a 16 yr old wingback!! After 2 coats of paint (2 wks apart to ensure complete dry of fabric), I then used Annie Sloan WAX on my wingback. I silver-leafed the legs using a product from Michael's. See website from thepassionatehome.com for more ideas! Good luck.
As you can see in my craft room, the floral print is the original chair. The seat on the floor, has a French stencil, (also in chalk, just so it shows up in the photo! The finished product is similar to leather. Look great with the navy and silver pillow! The chalk is in a large number of colours!!! I have received so many compliments!
After coat of paint #1
painted antique kids chairs! It paints on smoothly, then use a water-base varnish over your masterpieces.
