Painting Faux Pumpkins With Chalk Paint

Inexpensive faux pumpkins were purchased from Walmart and given a paint treatment using Annie Sloan Chalk Paints. Before they were just too fake and shiny looking for the look I wanted. Now they have the vintage look I was after. I love buying fresh pumpkins for this look, but they were not available yet at the farmer's market....so I made my own! The full tutorial in on my blog. I did not adhere the topiary permanently so I could use them in other ways in the future. decor decorating

I too want to buy inexpensive pumpkins but find that they don't have the quality look I prefer. Your idea is a fabulous solution. I love what you did with the painted pumpkins to make something so stylish.
