Gilded Armoire
I found this cabinet at my local flea market. I honestly didn't need it but for $45, it came home. Of course when it got home, I realized why it was so cheap. The side veneers were peeling off. Instead of spending more money and time, I decided to paint her with a coat of Chalk Paint® in Paris Grey then a coat of gold glaze followed by light brushing of Paris Grey again.
I really wanted this piece to have this aged chippy look. So I used blow dryer to get the chippy effect.
Now it is the perfect place for all my shabby china.
