Love it! This is the type of park-like yard I want. Wish I had the insight to create it. I've got trees galore but just can't envision it. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks!!! It is a project my boyfriend, the children and myself have been working on. (it just keeps growing) We love it!!!! It is peaceful. and knowing that we found every rock and used all the resources we already had (minus the deck boards) makes it even more special. It is not completed, but it's a start!!!

As for the chair..No we didn't make it. I found it at a yard sale for $75. It's actually a ...»

whole set: 2 chairs, a bench and a glass table top. Just couldn't pass it up

I love creating outdoor rooms...in bk corner if my yard is very shady..so I created a whimsical garden room on the deck of my potting shed...plus blue bottles on the fence..using blues and pastels it creates a feeling of "coolness". (tried to add photo but couldn't)

Thanks everyone...@ Carol M yes it does. it has it's own little ecosystem going. we have new frogs, tadpoles that we just found the other day, snails, baby fish. Everything is doing wonderful. And the children get to learn what building is all about and how to take care of the water life. Now, they get to see the stages of the tadpoles =)

Beautiful job. Love the rugged look of the rock creek, the feel of the life force in the deck"s shape, and the colors of the garden reflected in its chairs. A sharp eye to detail...and it shines through...
