Does anyone know anything about this style of rocking chair?

I've seen this chair on a local buy/sell/trade site and would like to know more about it. Problem is that the owner knows nothing but the dimensions. The seat is 18" and the chair is 35" tall. Anyone out there know anymore? The owner says "vintage"......

I am not sure but it could be a quilters chair.
