DIY Framed Jewelry

Do you have any old jewelry laying around that is special to you but you just don't wear it? I did! Wedding jewelry, vintage jewelry, heirlooms...I didn't wear them but I didn't want to hide them in a drawer. This was my solution!
I decided to frame my jewelry and hang it on the wall!
I started with my jewelry, a scrap piece of dropcloth that you can find at any home improvement store, and frames from the dollar store.
I attached my jewelry to the drop cloth and then wrapped the fabric around the glass, taping it in the back.
And now I have pretty framed jewelry art that makes me happy every time I look at it! Each piece is significant and I'm so glad that they are displayed instead of hidden!

@No search results.Mary askew. This is a wonderful idea! I will bring out my old pins and earrings and put them on my wall. Thanks.

I’m going to do this too! I have a ton of vintage jewelry from my family. I think it’s a wonderful way to honor their memory!
