Tin Can & Tequila Bottle Repurpose

Using up some tin cans and glass I've been saving by adding some paint and sparkle. Great way to display casual clippings.

What kind of paint did you use on the bottle? I love it! I'm doing a coastal themed family room and I just love this idea.

Love the bottle! Did you put some type of weight in the can? Seems it might get top heavy...but, I am a klutz:)

What a great idea for a gift! I checked your site out, you have some great ideas and will be checking back often to you see what you have been doing. Love the "noodle wreath" I have a noodle that just keeps getting moved from closet to closet, not anymore! And it looks like we are neighbors too!

Just a light dusting is all they should need. I painted them on the outside, so if you wanted to wash them, maybe seal them with a zap of poly spray just to be safe.

clever..I like both bottle and can. Soft colors,I envision white hydrangea in the can. I also would like to know what paint to use..thanks

I washed a can and some bottles, but I'm having trouble getting all the glue off. I even tried nail polish remover. What am I doing wrong?

The glue strip off the back of the can? I left mine! LOL. I just made it the back ;) On the glass, I soak in warm soapy water and it comes off with the paper. If you really want the glue off, use some Goof Off. That should work :)

Ann - "I added a little teal craft paint to some white chalk paint".

You can get craft paint that will work on glass too. #Martha Stewart has some by #Plaid. Good luck, hope that helps. Shannon :)))
