Painting a Ceramic Outdoor Pot With Milk Paint

For The Love Creations
by For The Love Creations
This was a $1 ceramic pot that I found and a thrift store and decided to give a makeover with Milk Paint. It went from chipped and dirty...to gorgeous in minutes!
Outdoor Pot Before
This is everything needed for the job...Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in "Typewriter" a lovely soft, vintage black, Bonding Agent (to make the paint adhere to the surface) and a small cup and whisk and White Wax.
Everything you need!
I mixed up the Milk Paint (a Sample Bag would be more than enough for this small project) added Bonding Agent and got painting!
Inside first, then the outside
Two coats and about 30 minutes to dry and then I waxed it with Miss Mustard Seed's Furniture Wax (clear) and then went over it lightly in White Wax to highlight all the detailing...Love how it came up!

And just think of what you would have paid for this distress pot had it been new! Great job! All it needs now is bright pink or red flowers!
