DIY Tufted Ottoman

I nabbed an old craigslist coffee table for $40 and transformed it into the tufted ottoman of my dreams with a little foam, fabric, power tools, and good ol' fashioned DIY sweat--all for about $100 (including the coffee table purchase).

You can check out the detailed tutorial here on my blog: http://www.fivedaysfiveways.com/2011/07/diy-...

That's a serious, Texas-size Ottoman. It looks very professional, too. Nice work.

Very nice Abby. Our daughter brought back our old living room tables before she moved to Hawaii and I've been debating what to do with them. I really like your idea. Thanks for sharing.

I'll bet you could do something similar, with a round side table...cutting the legs down a bit. Great job!
