very nice-checked out your blog and thought the chalkboard paint on your pots is such a good idea, will use that one! Love your "tea towel" pillows also -
Herbs are generally very happy in pots. Love how you painted the labels right on them. -
great display! I love clay pots, and chalk paint, and ladders so you definitely have my love on this project! -
Chalkboard paint makes this project even better! Thanks for the inspiration! -
I agree with Thistle W - there's nothing a bit of chalkboard paint can't make that much better! -
thanks for sharing. -
What does the term "upcycled" mean? -
It means reusing something in a new or improved way, for example the old stairs have been upcycled into a plant stand, while the fence palings have been recycled (made into something new) into chairs.

you have got my vote on this most awesome project!!!! Thank you for sharing and many blessings -
I love what you did with the old stairs....I can do the same thing when we replace our front steps!!!!! Wait till my husband finds out about this!!!!! lol

We had a set of mobile home stairs that we kept when the mobile home was sold; I use mine the same way. The wood eventually rotted but my husband welded some steel mesh in place of the wood to repair my "plant stand". I also kept the old deck from the mobile home and have it directly on the ground under a tree for some furniture. My husband thought I was crazy for keeping this stuff, but it works:) -
Love this idea. I have an old metal stepstool that I painted lime green with impatiens in pots in my garden; but I think I will use herbs there next year. -
i enjoy when i can come up with something new from something old yepper;s
