My New $20 La-Z-Boy Recliner

My new $20 La-Z-Boy recliner. I couldn't believe such a bargain. I love the size and style for this room. Actually in really great shape, however I will have it recovered in a fabric that goes with my room. Next week off to look.

I found a Lazy Boy chair for $60 and it looked really nice, but I was afraid of bed bugs so I did not purchase it. A lady across from me purchase a used chair and got bed bug. I sure would not want to get into that.

I did the same thing Betty. I bought a whole front room set at a yard sale. Then I noticed the people had a dog when I went to pick it up. I was scared of bed bugs and fleas. I couldn't bring myself to use it. It looked great but still I worried . I decided to be safe I'd never do that again. I lost $250 but just donated it. I know a lot of people don't worry about things like that or use something that should kill bugs. I'm with you though I'll never buy used upholstered again.

Your home looks lovely! I just love the fact that you found such a bargain, too. I think buffalo check would be great, but if you want to see if you would get tired of it, just buy a throw or piece of fabric and cover your chair for a while. If you like it then use the fabric for the chair, if not cover some pillows or make curtains. Kinda like buying paint samples.
