Cattail & Goldenrod Centerpiece

$00.00
Easy
While out running errands, I asked my hubby to pull over. Then I asked for his knife. I noticed the pretty yellow wild flowers before, but never stopped to look closely. I cut as many as I could hold. Then my hubby spotted some Cattails which are my favorite. He also grabbed some feather like grass. I've dried Cattails before, but they usually end up getting fuzzy at the top. Anyone know how to dry them so they last? Maybe a spray of some sort?

That's a beautiful seasonal arrangement. Try using a lacquer or polyurethane spray to preserve your cattails.

My mom picked some of those once, and they exploded! The house was block and had considerable moisture. That was the old days in NW Florida! I think now they are illegal to pick here, because they are a wetland plant.
