Chicken Wire Turned Pretty Dress Form for the Garden

I have long been pining to make a chicken wire dress form since I cannot afford the pricey vintage ones. I finally gave it a shot and could not be more happy with the results.
Starting with some chicken wire and a pair of snips, I cut and shaped a cylinder that then became the basic dress form.
You can see here how I folded over the end wires to lock the cylinder closed. Wear gloves if you have tender fingers... Me...No gloves.... Then I squeezed and shaped the wire with my hands to get her to look like a dress form.
Then each form got a tomato cage base. Two cages locked together worked great. After they had a base, it was time to dress these girls up!
This one got a tutu and scarf from the thrift store and a flower garland I made from felt and fabric strips.
This one got a cheesecloth flower I made, a scarf, and a skirt made simply by tying on strips from old sheets.

They are ready to dress up any flower bed and I could not believe how easy they were to make.
