Amazing New Uses For Some Typical Items

Not sure why, but finding new ways to use items we already have in the house makes us happy! WD-40, Bleach & Vinegar...I bet we've got at least ONE new idea for you!

http://bit.ly/Me167E

WD-40 Can...Remove Gum From Hair: Simply spray the gummed-up hair with WD-40, and the gum will comb out with ease. Make sure you are in a well-ventilated area when you spray and take care to avoid contact with the child's eyes.

Vinegar Can...Unclog a shower head. Unscrew the shower head, remove the rubber washer, place the head in a pot filled with equal parts vinegar and water, bring to a boil, then simmer for five minutes.

You were right. I thought I had heard them all, but I didn't know about bleach in flower vases. Interesting, and surprising. I would have thought the bleach would be bad for the flowers, but that just shows what I know.

Bleach is also good for silk flowers without any fading or running/bleeding of the colors. Here in Northern VA we have a real problem with Aphids. They leave their little nasty mess on my silk flowers so I discovered that I could spray the silk flowers with 100% bleach and then rinse off the bleach with the hose or in the bathtub and my flowers were good for another years worth of use. That little gem helped save me lots of $$ that I could spend in other ways or save:)
